Mary Sosnowski, founder and president of Sosnowski Language Resources, has over 35 years of experience teaching Spanish and French in elementary and secondary schools, both private and public. She is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Foreign Language Association and annually organizes a seminar in early childhood language teaching under its auspices. She regularly lectures at Language Conferences nationwide on the use of various materials in the language learning process.
Sosnowski Language Resources, founded in 1993, was born of the frustration of its founder in finding appropriate supplementary materials to assist in teaching French and Spanish to elementary school children. Exasperated with having to design and construct her own materials, she began researching sources in French and Spanish speaking cultures around the globe. Noting the appropriateness of the materials she discovered, colleagues began to prevail upon her to obtain some for them as well. And thus it grew...
Mary continues to teach, albeit on part time basis, in an effort to maintain a fresh understanding of the language teaching and learning process.
